Automaton, Werewolf

Description:

This cast iron Automaton depicts a werewolf howling at a full moon rising over a set of mountains.
A large winding key is set into it’s base. When wound up the moon will set behind the mountains and the Werewolf will transform into a man through clever mechanics.

The power of this automaton is only apparent when used in the presence of Lycanthropes. Any were creature who is within 100 feet of the Automaton when it is wound must make a DC 20 will save or be forced back into their human form and be stunned for 1d4 rounds.

The automaton can be used in revers as well. If set to it’s human form, then wound so the moon rises and the man becomes a werewolf. Any Lycanthropes in human form within 100 feet of the Automaton when this happens must make a DC 20 will save or transform into their hybrid form.

If wound more then once a day the automaton’s mechanism brakes and it becomes non-magical.
