The Castle at the Edge of the World
Law shredder is the Weapon of the proto goddess Discordia. It changes shape and power continuously making it difficult to wield.
An anarchic weapon is infused with the power of chaos. It makes the weapon chaotically aligned and thus bypasses the corresponding damage reduction. It deals an extra 2d6 points of damage against all creatures of lawful alignment. It bestows one permanent negative level on any lawful creature attempting to wield it. The negative level remains as long as the weapon is in hand and disappears when the weapon is no longer wielded. This negative level cannot be overcome in any way (including restoration spells) while the weapon is wielded.
Weapon of Discordia
Discordia is linked to the Law Shredder. It is an extension of her will. She knows where the sword is and can track it across the planes of existence. If the weapon is concealed by scrying Discordia can attempt to dispel the concealment using her level as the caster level.
Any lawful being that picks up the Law Shredder takes 5d6 points of damage with no save allowed.
Each Round the Law shredder changes shape and ability roll on each chart to determine its weapon type and abilities. In order to wield the law shredder the user must become proficient in it as an exotic weapon proficiency due to its constantly shifting point of balance and attack technique. Once mastered the wielder has become able to anticipate what the shifts in weight mean for the weapon’s transformation. She is able to use this knowledge to to keep her opponent off balance.
